Local looks very nice, but eats delicious in noodles with shrimp, I found many bowls of them. The service is friendly here

A great restaurant in the style of the Black Forest with very friendly staff and really delicious food. We were there for the second time today and both the pizza and the homemade pasta with meat or fish taste really good. In addition, the employees are courteous and flexible and respond to the wishes of the guests. I can recommend it with a clear conscience!

We had made a reservation for dinner on the terrace. Small starter tomato and mozzarella whet the appetite for more. This was followed by spaghetti aglio, olio e pepperoncini and beef steak with fries and salad. In addition a bottle Durbach red wine, perfect. Attentive and very friendly service.

We were in the old abbey on July 16, shortly after 5 p.m. and found the beautiful, very tastefully decorated restaurant empty. So we had the opportunity to talk lively with one of the two landladies, Mrs. Magdalene Kubalka, until more guests came. During this time the photos were taken. The food is generally very good. The menu should suit almost every taste. Since we have known every restaurant in the village over the years that we have come to Bad Herrenalb, the old abbey since 2017, when it opened, we are of the opinion that the old abbey is the most beautiful restaurant in the village, the most elegant, without being deterrently elegant, the tastiest and that the food tastes best there. So a top recommendation without reservation.

Called 30 times despite opening times, no one answered the phone ... in between there was a short call ... then nobody answered. Then ordered elsewhere.

Recommended by friends for good pizza, we went there on a Monday night. With the place half empty we waited for more than an hour on two pasta dishes and a salad. After waiting for more than an hour, we cancelled and left and will never be back. Interior style fits the name, and is left uncommented...

We have not had such a good pizza for a long time. A great dough and a non-everyday topping combination. Really really tasty. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. Very nice and friendly service. Here the price / performance ratio fits in any case. We felt very comfortable. Come back in any case and will advertise properly.

We were two for dinner here. A reservation is definitely recommended. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a rustic restaurant. The decor is consistent. The pizzas were excellent in taste and highly recommended. The size is sufficient with a small appetizer. The prices are reasonable. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. We look forward to a return visit.

Came without reservation and were welcomed very friendly on Sunday evening. We ordered pizza and salad. A pizza with reordering tuna instead of ham. No problem. Food was served quickly. Salad was delicious and the pizzas were crispy, well topped and very tasty. If we were on vacation longer we would come back.
